The Mayor’s All That Jazz Charity Dinner

Wellbeing Walk

D.H Lawrence Birthplace Museum, NG16 3AW

Join us for an exhilarating March wellbeing walk to the stunning Bennerley Viaduct! As you explore this magnificent structure, you’ll also get the chance to learn about the exciting plans for an eastern ramp, visitor centre, and car park—all part of the Kimberley Means Business Levelling Up Project.

While booking for the return coach back to the museum is now full, you’re warmly invited to join our walk for free. The route covers approximately 2.5 miles one way, offering a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and history.

Fly a Flag for the Commonwealth Day 2024

The Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Teresa Cullen, along with Round Hill School students, will raise the Commonwealth Flag in this special ceremony. This year’s Commonwealth Day theme, ‘One Resilient Common Future,’ emphasises the need for the 56 member countries across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Americas, the Pacific, and Europe to unite, build resilience, unlock potential, leverage the ‘Commonwealth Advantage,’ and foster a connected, digital Commonwealth.
