You can enjoy free live music performances in both Beeston Square and pubs across Kimberley now.
Whether you are into indie, acoustic, or something in between, this is the perfect way to start your weekend. Catch the talented local artists every Friday from 6pm, all the way through to 29 August.

Mark your diaries! Our much-loved summer celebration Play Days event series is coming soon to Nuthall (30 July), Chilwell (5 August), Eastwood (7 August) and Stapleford (11 August) – and you won’t want to miss it.
These free-entry events will bring you a lively mix of family-friendly fun, with everything from puppet shows and inflatables to science experiments, circus tricks, craft corners, fairground rides and more. There is something to bring a smile to everyone.

Beeston Summer Fete – A Day of Carnival, Community and Flavour!
Saturday 16 August, 12pm – 4pm, Broadgate Park, Beeston, NG9 2LN
Beeston town centre is set to come alive this summer with a fun-filled day for all the family!
The day of celebration will be kicked off with a carnival parade at 12pm, bringing rhythm and joy to the High Street in Beeston. Throughout the day, you can enjoy live stage performances, fairground rides, crafts and community stalls, and a packed line-up of entertainment, including free face painting, puppet shows and the wee donkeys.
Don’t miss the Beeston Food Fair in Beeston Square as well. A great delicious variety of food, local treats will be perfect for foodies and families alike.

Explore, Discover, Go Green this summer in Broxtowe
Nature Discovery Day
Sunday 13 July, 10am – 2pm, Toton Fields Local Nature Reserve
Join us at Toton Fields Local Nature Reserve for a hands-on day exploring local wildlife on your doorstep!
This is a free event available to all to come along and learn about their local green space and contribute to recording the wildlife found there.
Enjoy pond dipping, bug hunts, expert talks and family-friendly nature activities for all ages.

This popular event is shaping up to be another fantastic day of eco-friendly fun in Broxtowe! With lots of groups already signed up, there is still time for your organisation to get involved.

Create your own Willow Bumblebee/Dragonfly
Saturday 26 July and Sunday 27 July, 9.30am – 12pm
These workshops provide a perfect opportunity to learn and develop willow weaving skills. You will create your own willow bumblebee/ dragonfly and will be supported through the step-by-step process in a small group setting. The course is suitable for complete beginners and veterans alike, ideal for anyone with a desire to learn a new craft or a gift for an artsy person in your life! Booking is required.

An opportunity to hunt in the hedgerows to identify plant species we could add to our table.
