Free Tree Applications Now Open!

Back by popular demand, Broxtowe Borough Council’s Free Trees initiative is returning with a slightly different offer for 2024.

Broxtowe residents can apply for one of 300 apple or pear trees or one of 200 raspberry or loganberry plants to grow in your own gardens.

You must be signed up to Green Rewards to be able to claim a free tree or plant.

When you complete our online application form, please carefully type in the same email you use for your Green Rewards account.

We are giving away the following varieties:

• Apple
• Pear
• Raspberry
• Loganberry

We have selected these species as they are beneficial to local wildlife, great for pollinators and provide some delicious fruit.

What is Green Rewards?

Green Rewards is a free platform which can be accessed via app or desktop and whilst using it users can accumulate points for recording sustainable actions such as reusing and recycling. These points can then be exchanged for vouchers and prizes and can also be put towards local community projects. Watch our video on how to sign up.
